"NANA" Inspired Doll Again
Written by Lisa Lam

You've seen the release of the Rida doll in Japan, but now feast your eyes on Hong Kong's very own Mimo. Think of Mimo as the Chinese version of a "Dollfie." You dress them up, take them out, and take pictures of them. And apparently, Mimo has begun to work her way up into the doll collectors' world in Hong Kong. Just recently, the Mimo company has decided to release a "NANA the Movie" inspired version of Mimo. (Thanks to Wayne for emailing me about this!)

Yuna Ito's third CD single called, "Precious," is set to hit stores on May 3rd 2006. The song "Precious" is the theme song of the upcoming movie, "Limit of Love." This is another lovely ballad from Yuna and you can download a 46 second preview of the song here. Enjoy!

Lastly, the MTV Japan Music Video Awards 2006 nominees have been announced, and both Mika and Yuna are on the list! Mika Nakashima has been nominated for THREE different categories: "Best Female Video" & "Best Video from a Film" (Glamorous Sky); "Best Buzz Asia From Japan" (Amazing Grace '05). NANA fans who are anticipating the Blackstones vs Trapnest band battles in the movie sequel, probably will not have to wait till 2007 to see that happen. Yuna Ito's song "Endless Story" has also been nominated for "Best Video from a Film" and will be going head to head with Mika for this award. The MTV Japan Music Video Awards will be broadcasted on May 27th 2006, so mark your calendars!. (Thanks Purie-Lin for the email!)
