"NANA" On Sony's PSP! Terashima Nobuo's Spotlight! Written by Lisa Lam
The marketers behind the phenomenon that is "NANA," are churning out new ideas again to make us fans go broke! Coming in July 6th, 2006, Konami will be releasing another "NANA" video game on Sony's PSP. The Official NANA PSP site has been set up, so take a look and pull out your wallets! (The chibi version of the characters are sooooooo fudgin' cute!)
Also, remember the special chapter of "NANA" about Fujieda Naoki of Trapnest? Well, if you haven't reserved your May 2006 edition of Cookie magazine yet, you should do so now. In the upcoming May issue of Cookie, there will be a bonus chapter about Terashima Nobuo as a furoku. So Nobu fan girls, don't pass up this chance! Pre-order now! It releases on March 25th 2006.
To commemorate the coming of the special "Nobuo" furoku, the release of "NANA Volume 15," AND the release of "NANA the Movie" on DVD; (for the first time ever) "NANA" trucks will be advertising their way in Japan! So those of you in Japan, snap a picture of the "NANA" trucks. =) Its historical!
The cast members of "NANA the Movie" have been keeping themselves busy before the filming of the sequel. Aoi Miyazaki, Hiroki Narimiya, and Ryuhei Matsuda are scheduled to go to Hong Kong in April for the 30th Anniversary of the Hong Kong International Film Festival. But before that event, Hiroki Narimiya recently modelled at the "Jeans In Japan" fashion show. He did the catwalk, alongside super model Anna Tsuchiya. However, Hiroki was still very nervous.
Hiroki Narimiya expressed, "Being an actor and being a model are two very different things."
Lastly, Bruce Kwan of "Kam & Ronson Enterprise" has just recently contacted me to inform that "Panorama" is delaying the release of the Overseas "NANA" Movie DVD. The release date is being pushed back to mid/end of April. No reason has been provided for this delay, but a good guess would be the fact that "NANA" only just recently premiered in Korea; So a hold might have been put on the overseas DVD release, to encourage people to see "NANA" in Korean theaters. (Just a guess... Sounds logical?)
