HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YUNA ITO!!! She turns 22 years old today. Wherever and whatever she's doing in Japan right now, let's send her the very best wishes! As a young singer who just debuted not too long ago, Yuna Ito is merging quickly into success. Yuna is currently sitting on top of the world-- Or at least the charts! Yuna's first single "Endless Story" debuted at #2 on the Oricon charts in the first week! For a first time artist, that type of statistic is AMAZING. She was still in the "Top 5" in the second week, as her single ranked #5. Now in week three, "Endless Story" is holding her place steady in the top 10 with great artists such as Mika Nakashima, Otsuka Ai, and Ayumi Hamasaki. She won't have to worry that her single isn't selling! Oricon Style even dedicated a special article page to her. ^.~ To promote her single "Endless Story," her schedule has been packed. Yuna is set to be on NHK's TV programs from September 23rd through September 27th (Pop Jam & Beat Emotion). She will also get promotion time on FM Osaka and FM Sanin's Power Play program. That's not even counting the large number of magazines she's set to appear in this month. Yuna's super stardom dream finally came true! |
