Presenting Mika's private summer style!
Mika is also in the mood for one piece dresses.

"I am a present.
But I am very expensive!"

Actually-- Today was a bright day, despite Mika's reputation of being a "rain woman." So the interview took place in the wood deck, next to the studio, in a very relaxed manner! Today Mika wore a one piece dress from Vivienne Westwood.

So Mika, do you still like one piece dresses...?

Mika: "Yes. When I go on tours, they are easy because they don't need coordinating. The one I'm wearing right now, I bought recently. The design is as if I'm wrapped up as a present! On the ribbon it says 'I'M EXPENSIVE.' It's like 'I'll give myself to you-- But you'd have to pay!" (*laughs*) I think the humour is very Vivienne."

You must be busy with the tours. Do you still have time to go shopping?

Mika: "Actually, I am shopping a lot! Recently I bought a purse and planner from ASH & DIAMONDS. And I also went to shop for McQueen at VIA BUS STOP... This season I am interested in unusual patterned items!"

I presume the planner is the one on your summer BEST 3 ITEMS. Do you write about your dreams every day?

Mika: "I dream a lot. Sometimes I watch 3 in one night and remember all of them. They can be scary and also mysterious. I remember smells too. Things that come into dreams, they don't happen in real life; So I thought it would be interesting to make a song or music video out of them. By the way, the dream I watched yesterday was that the manager took my stage costume and wore it without my permission, and we ended up fighting over it. ^^"

Though telling us about her situation in a relaxed manner, her tour is reaching the final show!

Mika: "This tour, I noticed increased number of elders in the audience. When I sing a cover to Ozaki, some older men close their eyes..."

It means Mika is an artist that is loved by all ages! Next month, we will look into Mika's awaited new song!
